Serving ice-cream since 1978, Foubert's is a Chiswick institution, specialising in delicious Italian ice-cream. The parlour moved from around the corner on Chiswick High Road to this Turnham Green Terrace location in 2006 when the original cafe was replaced by High Road House, the Soho House brasserie. The painted, wood panelled parlour relocated here - much to the relief of locals - and continues to sell over 20 flavours of ice-cream including some obscure recipes like Blue Banana and tiramisu. Choose a booth if you want to enjoy your pistachio in peace, or share a place at one of the open tables along the other side of the shop. On the warm Sunday afternoon we were in the area the queue was out the door all day long.
